I painted my front calipers cast iron gray. Its a mettallic looking high temp engine paint i got at the parts store. It looks like a new stock unpainted calpiper. One trick to keep the lettering silver is to mask with vaseline B4 painting. The paint won't stick, and you just wipe it off when you're done. Then apply clearcoat to the whole caliper to make shiny and easy to clean. I'm glad I chose a stock color choice 'cus even though I cleaned thoroughly, and used three coats of high temp paint, it has flaked/chipped off on a few spots since i did it 3 years ago. But you can hardly notice since the color matches the bare metal. Also when I cleaned the back calipers to paint them, they looked so good that they didn't need paint, and still matched the front. Blue powdercoat looks awesome though if you have the resources to do that.
